Bio
This study involved wearable sculpture based on Japanese theatre masks, or Noh Masks. Through studying Japanese performance art and the demonic intention of the Noh Masks themselves, I was inspired to make my own. Upon its creation, a photoshoot of this mask in motion to imitate the way its ancestors did in antiquity was done as a way to document the work.
